I am thrilled to be joining the teaching team at Flo, and as an itinerant glassblower I love the positive energy here in the studio.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, I have lived in Montreal, Kingston, and Quebec City. Since 2009 I am now comfortable in the country around Wakefield, QC. I have degrees in political science and education. I taught elementary school for four years and had children, but my life has been part time or full time in glass blowing since 1994 when I started the three year Craft and Design program (DEC) in glass at Espace Verre in Montreal.
My product line is called Luciole. You can check it out on the Facebook page called Luciole Glass, or come into the boutique here at Flo. You can also find my work at Galerie Elena Lee in Montreal, the End of the Line Boutique, La Tulipe Noire in Wakefield, La Fabrique in Chelsea, and at the Marché de Solidarité in Hull. I am frequently at craft shows and farmer’s markets in Wakefield, Chelsea, Gatineau, and Ottawa. I am proud to be a part of a local and handmade market. I am currently working on designs for lighting and other home décor ideas and welcome custom lighting contracts.
