FAQ

what to wear

protective eye wear
If you have safety glasses or sunglasses it’s advised to bring your own. All glassblowing classes require protective eye wear, students who have not brought their own safety glasses will be asked to wear a pair from our fashionable collection.

footwear
Closed-toe mandatory, no sandals or flip flops. Comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be on your feet a good portion of the class.

clothing
Lightweight but protective clothing made of natural fibers is best. T-shirts are fine and protective sleeves can be provided upon request.

what to bring

waiver
All students of flo glassblowing must sign our provided Studio Liability Waiver before working in the facility. If you are under 18 you will require a parent/legal guardian to sign the form.

sketchbook
Strongly recommended for taking notes and sketching ideas.

water bottle
It is important that all students stay hydrated throughout the class. Filtered water is available in the studio. High calorie drinks (Gatorade/juices) are a good way to keep energy levels up.

lunch/snacks
Little Italy offers a variety cafes and restaurants for meals, or bring a packed lunch and some snacks to help you through your day. Our full-day classes break from 12-1pm for lunch.

hours of operation
Our gallery hours are the optimum time to pick up your items, look around our gallery and have any of your questions answered. Please note that classes run as they are listed on our calendar, often outside of gallery hours.

parking
Ample space is available at the studio parking lot for free at all times.

online/phone purchases
To purchase something online or over the phone simply email or call us with your credit card number, expiry date and V-code (3 digit code on back of card) and we will process your payment manually. Receipts will be emailed or kept in store for later pick-up.

Drink water – 1 cup every 20 minutes will keep you hydrated
Have a snack – restores electrolytes lost through sweating
Move around – this helps to keep you awake and focused
Take a break – a few minutes outside will do wonders
