This is our most popular introductory glassblowing workshop allowing students a full day to get to know liquid glass and get comfortable playing in the heat. Emphasis will be on gathering, marvering, shaping and jacking. Each student creates their own paperweights and ornaments.

beginners bubble
This course is offered to students who want to have the best first look into glassblowing. The course will overview safety in the studio. Emphasis will be on gathering, marvering, shaping and jacking. All students will design and create their own paperweights and ornaments, working in teams and developing the basics needed for all areas of glassblowing.

bubble and beyond
Building from the foundation of beginners bubble, students in this course will follow the process of glassblowing to include more complex forms. Students will work with partners and learn to ‘punty up’ designing their own glass objects and executing them with the tools built over previous sessions.
