Glass artists spend years developing their particular colouring techniques. In this 15hr - 4-part Colour Series Workshop, you will learn a variety of ways to apply colour to your work. As well as the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Part 1: Powders and Frits

Part 2: The Pick-Up
- Friday, May 25th - 5:30-8:30pm
Part 3: The Overlay
- Wednesday, May 30th - 5:30-9:30pm
Part 4: Double Overlays
- Wednesday, June 6th - 5:30-9:30pm
All materials, including colour, are included for this class. All forms made in this class are up to the student and are theirs to keep. Bowls or vases are commonly chosen, but that does not exclude alternative forms, provided it is not too advanced for the student.

In part one of this four part series, students will create the form of their choosing while applying new techniques using fine powders!
In addition to powders, the class will also cover a variety of options for working with frit and hot plate pick up applications. Emphasis on hot shop safety and appropriate mask use.
